President inaugurates dental college

NAUDERO: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday performed the inauguration of Assefa Dental College Larnaka.The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 160.2 million.It is a subsidiary institution of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana.The classes at Assefa Dental College Larkana will commence from September this year.As many as 50 students would be granted admission on the basis of merit. This would be the first dental college in the northern Sindh.Vice-Chancellor of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Medical University Larkana, Prof. Akbar Haider Soomro, briefed the President about the institution.He said that the process of hiring of the faculty for the college has been initiated.Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari was also present on the occasion. – APP
