Ahmed Mukhtar reaches Istanbul to attend International Defence Industry Fair

RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Defence Ch.  Ahmad Mukhtar has reached Istanbul, Turkey to lead Pakistani delegation in the 10th International Defence Industry Fair, starting from Tuesday, at the TAYAP Fair Center, Istanbul. 84 delegations will visit the fair including 419 foreign delegation members from 70 countries including 27 federal ministers from around the world. In addition to foreign delegations, a total of 621 domestic and foreign companies and company representatives from 48 countries are meeting at IDEF-2011.The high-level civilian and military interaction with the Defence industry procurement agencies of the world will get a chance to exchange views and get an opportunity to establish important business deals.The exhibition will continue for three days.The Federal Minister will then leave for Moscow, Russia to join the President of Pakistan in his visit to Moscow.
