KARACHI – Pir Pagara, chief of the Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) has said that all the Generals of the Pak Army are patriots. Army does not involve in politics on the incitation of anyone, rather it comes at its own.
The chief of PML (F) expressed these views while talking to the media men along with Sheikh Rashid at his residence Kingri House here on Thursday. Commenting on the statement of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain pertaining to martial law, Pir Sahib said that Altaf had always harboured evil intentions in his mind.
Pir Pagara was hopeful of the unification of all factions of Pakistan Muslim League as one political party. PML-F leader forecasted that next premier would be from his party. He said, “Feudal lords are lying in their graves; now, it is time to think about their children. Altaf would ‘go up’ if he returns home.”
Commenting on former President Gen. (r) Pervez Musharraf’s homecoming, the PML-F chief said no Pakistani President who went abroad, ever traced his way back home. The future of Sheikh Rashid and Shahbaz Sharif is bright while, Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan have dark future, he added. Passing remarks about Nawaz Sharif, he said that he (Nawaz) did not win two-third majority; rather it was a forced incident. Sheikh Rashid said that he had turned up here to Pir Pagara to request him to lead the united Muslim League, adding that PML-F was an ally of Awami Muslim League from day it had been founded.
He was of view that the united Muslim League would be the leading political party in the future politics under the leadership of Pir Sahib Pagara. -nation
