Aditya Mehta enters Asian snooker final

BANGALORE: Having failed in his maiden attempt at the final hurdle two years ago, Indian ace Aditya Mehta gets another chance for a crack at the Asian snooker title on Saturday.Probably playing his best snooker following his twin success at the Guangzhou Asian Games, the 25-year-old overcame Afghanistan’s Mohd Rais Senzahi 6-4 to power into the final at the Yeshwant Club at Indore on Friday.In the title clash, the tall Mumbai cueist takes on Thailand’s Passakorn Suwannawat, who ended Pankaj Advani’s hopes with a come-from-behind 6-5 win in the other semifinal. – TOI
