Officials in the southwestern U.S. state of Texas say a wildfire about 113 kilometers from the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area has grown to more than 60,000 hectares.That figure, announced Tuesday, is more than double an estimate from the previous day.The fire is one of a number of massive wildfires raging across Texas that have destroyed homes and forced hundreds of people to evacuate.Officials say a firefighter was killed Friday while battling one of the fires. They are being fueled by high winds, dry brush, heat and low humidity.Texas officials have urged residents to clear brush away from their homes and rooftops. – Voanews
