Communication failure paralyzes Argentina airports

Argentina: Argentina’s two major airports have suspended flights due to a failure in control tower communications.Some 300 flights have been grounded at the Ezeiza international airport in a suburb of Buenos Aires, and two other national airports near the capital have been paralyzed by the communications system failure. That’s according to a statement from the National Administration of Civil Aviation.Argentine President Cristina Fernandez is among the stranded passengers. The presidential jet had been scheduled to fly Fernandez to the country’s Salta province for an official event.The civil aviation authority says flights are likely to begin again in Monday night. – Yahoonews
