US Drone strike death toll mounts to 38 in North Waziristan

PESHAWAR: The death toll in deadliest strike by US predator on village Datakhel in North Waziristan Agency on Thursday night mounted to 38 and 15 others injured.Sources based in Miranshah, main Town of North Waziristan  that the drone attacked a vehicle passing close to a house where a Jirga of Ismailkhel tribe was in progress to settle a dispute between two warring groups over chromite at Datakhel, 40 kilometer West of Miranshah.One of the four fired missiles hit the house, killing 38 people and wounding 15 others.The death toll may rise further as condition of several victims is stated to be critical. The identity of victims could not be immediately ascertained. The local residents rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital – APP
