KARACHI: The 21st Pakistan International Education Exhibition organised by the World Learning Bureau (WLB) has been concluded on Sunday at Karachi Expo Centre.About 75 leading education institutes participated in the event from across the world including Malaysia, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, North Cyprus, UAE and Pakistan as well.Stalls of all institutions were set up, displaying literature on the courses they offered, while the representatives of these universities were also present to answer queries from visitors.WLB Director Rashidul Haque said on the occasion that such types of exhibitions give Pakistani students an excellent opportunity to view the choices in international education. It would also promote Pakistani educational institutions and programs offered by representative institutions.Former chairman Higher Education Commission Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rahman visited the exhibition and distributed shield among exhibitors. He appreciated the efforts of the organisers and extended his compliments to them in holding such a nice education exhibition.Malaysian Consul General Muhammad Khalid Abdul Razak declared the exhibition a great success. He said that considering trends in Pakistan towards studying in Malaysia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia brought here 12 top ranking educational institutions’ representatives and setup a special country pavilion. He thanked WLB for providing this excellent opportunity to them.Official representatives from Australian High Commission and New Zealand trade and enterprise also visited the exhibition – Dailytimes
