At least 11 people were died and 37 others injured in an explosion in the Ziarat Akhund Panju Baba mosque in Akbarpura, Nowshera.According to the police, food was being distributed after the Juma prayers when an explosion occurred in the closet of the mosques. Eight people were killed due to the explosion and 37 have been injured. The injured were shifted to the Pabi Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital. The mosque has been severely damaged due to the explosion.
Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour arrived at scene and confirmed that eight people had lost their lives.
