Three CDA officials dismissed after inquiry on PM’s orders

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has dismissed three officials from their services for misappropriation of public funds. The officials, including Mushtaq Hussain, Sub-Engineer, In Charge of Work, were dismissed as a result of an inquiry conducted on the orders of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani. A news item was published in a section of the press regarding  involvement of the CDA officials  in misappropriation of public funds in the construction of National Police Academy’s building. The cost of the material misappropriated by the defaulter contractor amounting to Rs. 3,738,000 is being recovered by CDA – APP
