PM takes notice of misuse of CDA vehicles, sale of unhygienic meat

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has taken serious notice of two news items published on Saturday in a section of the press regarding the “unauthorized use of CDA vehicles” and “sale of unhygienic meat in Rawalpindi”.He directed the Chairman CDA to submit report immediately about misuse of CDA vehicles by political personalities and the officers.The media reported that some political personalities and officers are found involved in unauthorize use of CDA transport in spite of the Cabinet Division’s categorical instructions for recovery of these vehicles.Regarding the unhygienic sale of the meat in Rawalpindi, the Prime Minister directed Chief Secretary, Punjab for submission of a report in this regard.The press reported that some of the butchers are openly selling meat of dead and sick animals in different localities of the city – APP
