LAHORE: The King Edward Medical University (KEMU) celebrated its 150th anniversary on Sunday. A grand function was held in the traditionally built library hall of KEMU. Hamza Shahbaz was the chief guest of the event.The guests proposed several important ideas and initiations. Khawaja Sadiq Hussain – a student and former principal of KEMU – demanded the appointment of a regular VC for the highly respected institute, strictly on merit. In addition, he requested Hamza Shahbaz to plan for relocation of the university to the suburbs of Lahore, where it could be expanded and developed further.
