PMA cadets to mount guard at Quaid’s Mazar

KARACHI: A smartly turned out contingent of the cadets from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, will mount the guard at the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam on Dec 25 (tomorrow) as a part of celebrations to mark the Father of the Nation’s birthday. An ISPR press release issued on Thursday, said that the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, has the singular honour of being the only military institution, designated as `Quaid-e-Azam’s Own’ by the Father of the Nation himself. It said that he was the first and the only Colonel-in-Chief of the Academy. Selected cadets from the Academy have already arrived here from Kakul and are busy in rehearsals, it was further stated. app – dailytimes
