Attack on CM Balochistan was suicide: CCPO Quetta

QUETTA: CCPO Quetta Abid Notakani has said that the attack on Chief Minister of Balochistan a suicide attack however further investigations are continuing.Chief Minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani survived a suicide attack on Tuesday when his motorcade was targeted by a bomber at Sariab Road crossing in Quetta.The attacker was killed and 10 people including 5 policemen were injured in the incident.He said according to an estimate about 3 to 4 kilogram explosive material was used in the attack and further investigation is in progress.He appreciated the police force for performing their duty well and said that the policemen by putting their own life at stake saved many precious lives.He said that Police officials and other law and forces agencies are investigating the incident and in this connection public and media will be informed soon – Onlinenews
