QUETTA: The Balochistan government has prepared a plan for construction of 100 small dames in the province to save water.Talking to a foreign radio, Deputy Secretary for Provincial Irrigation Department Khudaidad Khan said that the inland water level in the province is going to drop due to installation of large number of tube wells and lack of rains in the province.He said, to control the serious situation, the federal and provincial governments actively working to save the inland water reservoirs adding that they want to construct further 125 small dames.He said that federal government has included a plan for construction of more 100 dames in PSDP of the current fiscal year on the request of provincial government.
