2584 contract employees regularized

PESHAWAR: Government of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa has regularized 2,584 contract employees, working at different grades in 24 districts of the province.A report finalized by the establishment department of the province is being forwarded to Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti in this respect.The report forwarded to Chief Minister details that these workers were performing their duties on contract basis since many years. It has been learnt that 82 employees belong to provincial capital Peshawar, Nowshera 94, Charsada 75, Mardan 128, Swabi 120, Kohat 91, Karak 51, Hangu 26, Bannu 131, Lakki Marwat 59, DI Khan 154, Tank 54, Buner 56, Lower Dir 122, Upper Dir 116, Chitral 84, Haripur 80, Abbottabad 108, Mansehra 139, Battagram 37, Kohistan 12, Shangla 76, and Swat 42. Maximum number of employees belong to Malakand Agency 401 whereas 84 workers are employed at Commissioner offices of Mardan, Hazara, Malakand and Kohat.
