President appoints Justice Ejaz Ahmed as LHC CJ

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday, on the advice of the Prime Minister, appointed Justice Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry as Chief Justice Lahore High Court.According to President’s spokesperson Farhatullah Babar, the Parliamentary Committee constituted under 18th Amendment had unanimously confirmed the name of Justice Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Senior Puisne Judge of the Lahore High Court, for the appointment as LHC Chief Justice.He will assume his responsibilities on retirement of Justice Khwaja Muhammad Sharif, the incumbent Chief Justice, on December 8, the spokesman said – App
