Contacts stared for final approval of amendment in 40-FCR besides imposition of tax

PESHAWAR: Contacts have been started with Assembly members in tribal areas for imposition of tax besides final approval of amendments in 40-FCR.According to sources of SAFRON, the condition has been imposed to bring tribal areas into the tax net on the say of IMF while reform package has been prepared in this connection. Income tax and other taxes would be imposed in Fata like all war-hit areas.Federal Board of Revenue has already dispatched it’s report about tax imposition to Safron ministry, Parliament Secretariat and President Secretariat. It has been recommended in the report to take some steps for imposition of taxes in Fata.
