KARACHI: Arif Mehmood’s exhibition and portfolio entitled ‘Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’ at Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture (IVSAA)’s gallery concluded on Sunday.Sindh Tourism Minister Shazia Marri, who was the chief guest on the occasion, expressed her deep interest in photography and spiritualism.She shared her experience and information with the participants about the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.She appreciated the picture of an 800-year-old key of the basement of the shrine.Anbrin, the gallery’s manager, said the people warmly welcomed the exhibition and appreciated the spiritual impact of photographs.She said the exhibition had a significant educational value, and a large number of students had visited the exhibition.Mehmood, who explored the environment and spiritual impacts of the shrine, said he had tried his best to capture the majestic approach to Qalandar’s court in the exhibition.“When you look at the piece as a whole, there is this embedded ‘Lal’, meaning ‘red’ is the sequence of images, and it cannot be ignored – Dailytimes
