HAVANA, (SANA): A plane reportedly carrying 68 people crashed in central Cuba and all the persons onboard in plane were died in the result of crash at Santiago de Cuba airports.Cuban television said the plane was an ATR-72-212 twin turboprop aircraft that belonged to Cuba’s state-owned Aero Caribbean Airline.The plane said to have left Santiago de Cuba en route to Havana around 4 p.m. and went down near the town of Guasimal in Sancti Spiritus province after issuing an emergency call.
An employee at the Guasimal hospital told media that an airplane crash had been reported and that no one survived in the result of the crash.“They called just now and said there are no survivors, but I don’t know if its true,” the employee said. “So far they haven’t brought anybody” to the hospital.The reports did not say anything about the condition of the passengers, who included 40 Cubans, 28 foreigners and 7 crewmembers – Sananews
