PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has approved in principle the creation of 50 posts of male head warders and 10 posts of female head warders (BPS-7) in the Inspectorate of Prisons during the current financial year.According to press release issued here on Thursday, the Chief Minister has, however, directed to abolish the same number of posts of warders in order to save the provincial exchequer from undue expenditure.This step has been taken with a view to address the long-standing issue of promotion of the watch and ward staff of the Inspectorate.The Chief Minister has also approved the adoption of the enhancement in the minimum rates of wages at the rate of Rs. 7000/- per month for unskilled workers as announced by the federal government in the labour policy 2010.
