President, Japanese PM discuss ways to strengthen ties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Japan Naoto Kan called President Asif Ali Zardari on telephone Tuesday morning and had discussion on various bilateral matters. The President thanked the Japanese Prime Minister for the assistance provided by his government for the rehabilitation and relief of the flood affected people.The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen the already growing bilateral relationship and said they expected to meet soon.Islamabad and Tokyo have long enjoyed cordial and formidable relations and with Japan’s economic assistance, Pakistan is presently working on a number of mega infrastructure and energy projects – App
