Pakistan on Monday has successfully conducted training launch of SSBM (Surface-to-Surface ballistic Missile), Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.
In a post on social-networking website Twitter, the media wing of the armed forces stated that Shaheen-1 is capable of delivering all types of warheads up to range of 650 kilometers.
Launch was aimed at testing operational readiness of Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) ensuring Pakistan’s credible minimum deterrence, the ISPR added.
