Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday took suo motu notice of the target killing of members of Hazara community in Quetta. CJP said that the children of Hazara community are not able to go schools and colleges due to the fear of target killing. He asked the provincial government what it has done to stop these murders.

Justice Nisar further expressed solidarity with the victims and sought report from the Interior Ministry and law enforcement agencies. Are the Hazara community members not Pakistanis? Is the government not responsible for providing them protection? he inquired.
