All of my life I have studied in my Science books that the human beings fall in the category of warm blooded animals.

But when I actually started to get the understanding of this world and when I actually had the experience of dealing with human beings, I came to the point that Humans in literal sense are cold blooded. The world is in short is full of unpleasant people. If we categorize them into two categories than we have one type who are causing destruction, spreading evil and the second type is of those who are not doing anything about those evil people. Both are equally dangerous and menacing. When we look at the range of violent upheaval in the world, we get to know that how alarming it is getting with the time. Every other person now loves to become the brutal dictator. Killing the person in the name of religion or culture is becoming a usual trend. Human life has no particular value. Everyone seems to think no one can be more perfect or pious than themselves. The element of patience sadly no longer exists. This mentality is leading to shaking of the bridges of peace. It’s shameful to witness how the humanity is been knocked down every single day. The legs of humanity are badly wobbling.

The harsh reality is that we live in a cruel world where more often then not, darkness can be found not only surrounding our every day lives, but also can also be felt within ourselves. The flickering of news channels and news papers can almost always be counted on to be a bearer of bad new of how much humanity is in chaos with the world and itself. Every time there is a major incident, we post the messages of sympathies, we all call for changes to the system, yet we forget about the incident just in a week.

There are murderers, rapists, and abusers in this world causing their victims in turmoil of a living hell. Millions of souls in this world are slowly losing faith in their dreams and hopes such as a candle light flickering just before it’s final moments of forever being blown out. There are people who are losing everything they ever loved, who are depressed beyond belief, who are suffering a disease that could take their lives at any moment and who feels like their losing a war at which an unknown monster is winning. At this moment, people are homeless trying to find a away to survive each day. At this moment, there are people who are starving wondering where to find food each day. And at this moment, someone out there is ending their life because they decided they couldn’t handle the cruelty of this world any more. And throughout all this, we stand and witness all this sadness and destruction. There’s a famous saying: “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”

The world is a cruel place, but it is not without its good. In a world full of darkness, it is still important to remember there are countless lights of good people with good hearts, who are trying to help the less fortunate. They are the ones who somehow restore our faith towards humanity. And as you’re reading, be one of the lights in this vast darkness. Be one of the good in this cruel world. Try becoming a real warm blooded human in the world of cold blooded humans.
