Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) says it has obtained the services of a C-130 aircraft from Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to resume flight operation to Gilgit.

The decision has been taken on the directions of the federal government. The flight PK-605, it said, would operate at 11am instead of 7am tomorrow. According to the airlines, passengers are requested to reach the airport accordingly.

The flight operation to Giligt Baltistan and northern areas was suspended shortly after the flight PK661 crashed in Abbottabad, killing all 47 people on board. The PIA also grounded all ATR aircraft until its fresh inspection.-samaa
