Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is celebrating “Thanksgiving Day” in the federal capital on Wednesday, Media News reported.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan made the decision of celebrating “Thanksgiving Day” after the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan began hearing a case into the “Panama Papers” leaks and offered to form a commission to investigate revelations that Sharif’s children held offshore bank accounts.

The party is organizing a public rally at Islamabad’s Parade Ground as part of the celebrations. A huge stage is being constructed whereas 10,000 chairs have been placed at the venue for the demonstration. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders will address the public meeting as well. It should be noted that Khan had visited Parade Ground to review the arrangements for the rally. He lauded the preparations for the party’s public meeting.

A traffic plan has been issued by the Islamabad administration on the occasion. All roads which were blocked,due to PTI’s Islamabad Lockdown call, were opened on Tuesday night. It should be noted that PTI chairman, while addressing party workers on Tuesday, said that he lauds the Supreme Court of Pakistan which will investigate Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. arynews
